Work is approaching completion: the installation of metal structures for Pavilion No. 20 at VDNH is entering its final stage.
The structures for the facility are manufactured at the Tula Metal Rolling Plant. Part of them has already been installed on site, while the remaining batches are still in production and will be delivered in the near future.
In recent days, the final large-scale elements have been installed: box-section columns weighing up to 30 tons, as well as cross-bracing and purlin beams. This completion of the main frame forms a strong “skeleton” of the building, ready for the next stage — construction of external walls and facade systems.
Now the focus is on finishing assembly, precise alignment of joints, geometry verification, and weld consistency checks. Installation of auxiliary subsystems (stairs, stair flights, beam supports) has already begun, along with the routing of main engineering networks inside the structure.
