Specialists of the Tula Metal Rolling Plant have begun to fulfill an order for the manufacture of metal structures for a bridge crossing over the Bolshoy Anyui River in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. 1,000 tons of steel bridge structures will be manufactured for the project.
The future bridge should become part of the two-lane Kolyma-Omsukchan-Omolon-Anadyr highway, which will provide year-round road communication between Magadan and Chukotka and connect the R-504 federal road with the administrative center of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
The builders plan to start traffic on the highway before October 1, 2024.
