Our specialists have produced and shipped the first batch of bridge metal structures as part of the implementation of the federal project for the construction of the "Kolyma – Omsukchan – Omolon – Anadyr" highway. For the manufacture of metal structures, northern performance rolled metal was ordered. All structural elements are made and coated with anti-corrosion compounds considering the increased requirements for the Extreme North conditions.
The success of this project's implementation depends on the proper planning of all production processes, as the delivery of structures to the site is associated with transportation via the Northern Sea Route. Production chains are organized in such a way to deliver over 1000 tons of metal structures by the opening of navigation. Special attention is paid to the packaging of the structures, according to the requirements of STO-GK "Transstroy", which allows multiple loading and unloading operations without unpacking.
It is worth noting that previously, the Tula Metal Rolling Plant successfully implemented a series of projects related to the manufacture of bridge crossings over rivers in Chukotka, such as Lyuleveem, Milguveem, Ugatkin, Pucheveem, left and right Yarakvaam. All bridge crossings were assembled and put into operation exactly on schedule.
Recall that the construction of the "Kolyma – Omsukchan – Omolon – Anadyr" highway has been ongoing for over 11 years. The new highway, spanning more than 2200 km, will allow motorists to move year-round and unimpeded from Chukotka to the Magadan region and will connect the regions with the road network of Russia.
