Specialists from the Tula Metal Rolling Plant participated in the annual International Conference of the Steel Construction Development Association (ARSS), held in Sochi on March 25–26. The conference brought together over 350 representatives from metal rolling manufacturers, steel structure factories (SSFs), the scientific community, design and construction companies, and government authorities.
On the first day of the conference, experts from the professional community delivered 12 presentations on topics including the application of steel in civil construction projects, interaction with government authorities, and the development of the steel construction market in Russia. Participants discussed current achievements in steel construction, future prospects, and exchanged experiences and ideas aimed at highlighting new technologies and innovative projects. The primary focus of the discussions was the use of steel and steel structures in constructing various facilities, including industrial enterprises, civil structures, and unique buildings. The second day of the conference featured negotiation sessions with ARSS founders — Severstal, EVRAZ, OMK, NLMK, TMK — and key clients.
